About Us

Here at Arrowhead Cavaliers our focus is breeding beautiful healthy pets. My name is Rosemarie and I’m very lucky to have worked with two of Southern Californias most experienced and reputable breeders. Linda Lee from So Cal Cavaliers has been breeding Cavalier King Charles for more than 25 years. She is retiring and I am slowly expanding her line. Diane from La Bastide of Big Bear is another very conscious breeder that I am proud to call a friend. She has been providing the stud service for the puppies. They are both a wealth of knowledge that they have shared with me.
I fell in love with the breed when I met Linda many years ago. Cavaliers are the most loving breed of dog I have ever had. It is said that your Cavalier will love you more than life itself. They become your companion not just your dog. They are smart, confident, obedient and make your life complete.
This is the fourth litter I have whelped. I love raising puppies, they grow so fast.
My son, his wife and their children are part of Arrowhead Cavaliers. Our family is proud to provide happy socialized puppies. They enjoy helping with the puppies and making sure they are socialized and introduced to children. Our concept starts with a healthy dam and sire. Both have undergone DNA tests and have passed OFA heart exams. The dogs are loved and are part of a family. They are well cared for and fed quality food and receive the correct amount of exercise.
Puppies seem to be born in the middle of the night so Miranda and I spend a night helping Mama bring new life into the world. The first three to four weeks is all about making sure Mama is healthy , comfortable and has enough milk for the babies. When the pups are old enough, at about four weeks we start transitioning them into whole food. At four weeks the puppies have teeth. We also start deworming medicine. This is a precautionary practice only since we do walk the parents. At seven to eight weeks, we have a wellness veterinarian check. At that time the vet will administer the first vaccine. A microchip can be implanted during the vet check on request. At pickup, we include a care package to help make becoming a pet owner seamless. Lastly, our service continues after you pick up your new fur baby, you can call me if you have any questions about raising your puppy. We guarantee the health of our puppies for one year.
If there comes a time when you can no longer care for your Cavalier King Charles, we can help you rehome it to a qualified owner.
Please call me if you would like to learn more about me or our breeding service or would like to meet our current litter.
